Hotjar Project Update:

  • Removed all occurrences of “Printable Dares Poll” on the party games site.
  • Cleaned up the form data by removing the duplicate entries and kept only one entry per IP address.
  • Here are the final results after cleaning up duplicate entries:

  • Created a new heatmap for list of dares page. Not sure why it doesn’t work when you create a heatmap. Perhaps next time try creating a heatmap by excluding the Http:// from the page URL.
  • I have improved the list of dares C2 thank you page a bit, added eBook image and highlighted some font colors. I think that still it should be improved even more in order to get a reasonable conversion rate.
  • As you asked in your feedback email, I have created 3 variations of the List of Dares banner. Please have a review of folder “List-of-dares Banner” (Saved within the High priority folder).
  • Note that one of these banner is animated gif banner, which I have implemented on the list of dares pages.
  • Read and reviewed all Hotjar links that you sent me via email. I don’t think that we can track SBI forms with Hotjar, because I have created another form-tracking for the Truth or Dare stories page and that is still not working.
  • Based on one of their article, in which it is advised to use Javascript to handle form submission, I don’t think this is applicable either. With this method, we have to include a small detail of Javascript within the exiting form code, but with SBI forms we don’t have access to any of the form’s code so we cannot add that detail there.
  • There is another possibility to copy form’s HTML source code and then paste it manually to the BB2 page (using a Raw HTML block), but that solution is also not working because SBI uses different type of JavaScript and we cannot edit that according to Hojar’s suggested method.

Other Administrative Support:
  • Finished reading the C2 guide.
  • On the Ideal-Helper homepage, there were some image-text broken occurrences (only in mobile view) so I fixed all call-out boxes by using responsive grids.
  • Also moved all callout box images from right to left because on mobile devices, lef side of the grid block is always on the top of the right block.
