I’ve studied the different features of Help Scout such as Docs, Mailbox and Beacon. I’ve used/tested the feature myself, read some documentation and watched the video tutorials. I’ve summarize what I’ve learned and listed them below:
- Docs
- The Basic plan includes 1 limited Docs site. You can have 1 collection and up to 30 articles.
- The Standard plan includes 1 site. You can add more sites for $20 per site, per month.
- There is no limit to the number of articles you can add.
- The Plus plan includes 3 sites. You can add more sites for $20 per site, per month. And again, no limits to the number of articles.

- We can put google analytics in Docs for SEO
- We can customize the page layout of our Docs
- We can also redirects old article to the new one
- We can set the article to private which is visible to the registered users only and public which is visible to anyone
- We can translate the article to different languages using an apps in Help Scout but it’s not free. Standard Plan has 15-day Free Trial
- We can setup related articles for more help or references for the customers
- We can put keywords in the article for SEO
- Mailbox
- Had setup Autoresponder
- Modified the email signature
- Beacon

- Embed the PPG Beacon here http://www.test.pennypinching-grandma.com/. Customized the Beacon to display the top articles that were published in our Docs and added Name, Email and Topic fields on the Contact Form http://prntscr.com/ff7ohd.
